Amberjack

Amberjacks have a dark stripe that extends from the nose to in front of the dorsal fin. Soft dorsal base is less than twice the length of the anal fin base.

Typically found offshore near rocky reefs, wrecks in 100 to 200 foot depths. Average size around 40 pounds, can go up to 140 pounds. Amberjack likes to feed on squid, fish and crustaceans.
